Notices of vacant positions are posted on LinkedIn and on our website. Suitable candidates are first interviewed by the Human Resources team. Successful candidates are invited for a second interview with the relevant department manager.
Online recruitment tests are required for certain positions. The next step is checking the candidate’s references. Candidates who successfully complete all phases are offered a position.
Savola Foods Turkey’s employees take a two-week orientation program after recruitment.
The orientation program starts on their first day at work after being introduced to Savola Food’s employees.
During the first week, orientation meetings on departments, procedures and processes are held at the central office. Information acquired during these meetings is supported by field visits.
The orientation process continues at Ayvalık Plant in the second week and employees are provided with information with regard to the departments, procedures and processes at the plant.
Technical orientation programs are also offered in Savola for positions linked to Savola Group.
Training plans are prepared by the Department of Human Resources at the beginning of each year according to the needs determined by all managers.
In-house trainings are provided within the scope of Savola Academy to enhance inter-departmental communication and support employees’ development.
In addition, Savola Academy cooperates with domestic and foreign companies which are leaders in their field, for outsourcing external trainings. The aim of external trainings is to accelerate the learning process by means of creative external activities while also creating a collective memory of pleasant times which will form the Savola culture.
Savola Group provides support in executive trainings.
The current human resources at Savola Foods Turkey constitute the main driving force in the company’s success with their vast experience and qualifications. Various systems are established in the company to manage the current human resources in the best way possible and raise future managers and staff of Savola Foods.
Talents are recognized at Savola by means of a performance measurement system as well as meetings where opinions and suggestions are obtained from the General Manager, Director of Human Resources, the most senior executive of the related department, and employees working at key positions. After such opinions and suggestions are evaluated by the Human Resources of Savola Foods Turkey, they are shared with the Human Resources of Savola Group, followed by the preparation of career plans suitable for talents and career improvements of individual employees
